||4 of 4 people found the following review helpful.| Readable and informative|By Just a Putz in WI|This seems to be a landmark book on the subject of the social world of Paul, and I can see why - it's very readable, I found it informative and enlightening, and after getting into NT Wright's new book on Paul, with all the quoting he did of Meeks, I decided I needed to pause and read this before I continued, and glad I did.
